Several local working groups in FREMO are devotees of this scale. After a failed attempt to unify their experiences, have finally started independently to play operations activities using standard modules.
The first meeting is held the May 19-20 , 2007 near Brescia and attended by members of the group CV19 (http://cv19.altervista.org/), members of the Silandro Modelers Club (MEC) (http://www.mecschlanders.com/), members of the Club Fermodellistico Bresciano (CFB) (http://www.cfb-brescia.org/) with a group of German members of the group FREMO South.
The three Italian groups have since joined their manifestations in other meetings in 2007 (Carnate) and in 2008 (Verona). Grown rapidly in recent years have other reality (in the Veneto, Calabria, Sicily) that start to build standard modules, characterized by the reproduction of local reality: Bridge in the Alps - for the group Calalzo Triveneto, the Brescia-Edolo line for the CFB, the historic line that connected Cosenza to Paola, and namely, the station of Rende, with the cogwheel railway in the direction of San Fili (in addition to Corigliano on the ionic coast and Tropea) for the Calabrian group (http://www.t-i-m-o-n-e.it/stagioni/treni.vis/timdettvp.php?id=3027).
